At Interac, we celebrate diversity and believe bringing our authentic selves to work drives the best results and allows us to learn from one another. We are a diverse group of people and are committed to creating an environment for diversity of thought and experience, where unique ideas, perspectives and voices are not only welcomed, but encouraged.
This June, we are reminded that we all play a role in standing up against injustice in all forms. We all play a role in fighting racism and discrimination, so we can contribute to a safer and fairer future for all. The messages from Pride Month and National Indigenous History Month about truth, reconciliation and equity have never been more important.
We acknowledge the history of racism and discrimination faced by vulnerable communities in Canada, particularly the Indigenous and LGBT2Q+ communities. These prejudices are still alive for underrepresented groups across our nation, and we stand in solidarity with indigenous peoples, two-spirited individuals and the entire LGBT2Q+ community.
We hope you will join us in educating yourselves in the history of these communities, so we can all work to become better allies.
