Julie is the co-owner of Brockton Haunt, a coffee shop in Toronto, Ontario. She is also a member of the LGBT2Q+ community and believes it’s important for queer people to see queer business owners so they feel empowered to show their true colours.
During the pandemic, Julie and her co-owner – her mom – switched to using Interac e-Transfer Request Money to power their business. They’ve built strong relationships with their customers where they can accept mobile orders and have the money deposited right away.
