Today we use digital tools for many things โ for example, communicating with friends and family, shopping, and transferring funds. In the future, even more of our day-to-day exchanges of information will take place in the digital realm.
At Interac weโve been thinking a lot about how new digital technologies are developed and what Canadians expect when it comes to the protection of their personal information.
We conducted a survey of 1,500 adults with the goal of hearing directly from Canadians about the future of digital technologies.
The main takeaway: Canadians are open to new technology, but want to be in control over their information and be assured they are safe and secure to use.
