* Most Android devices that run on Android 9 or a later OS and have NFC capabilities will be compatible with Tap to Pay on Android. In Canada, Tap to Pay on Android is compatible with contactless credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other digital wallets.

** Tap to Pay on Android can only be accepted to the tap limit set by the cardholder’s financial institution, which is typically set to $250 CAD. Transactions above the tap limit are not supported with Tap to Pay on Android, and you and your customer will be prompted to use an alternate payment method like manual card entry.
